I The Betrayer - 7 - Review

May 31, 2017

Norwegian heavy metal five piece  I The Betrayer are finally releasing their eagerly anticipated debut EP '7'. Which is available on the 5th June 2017.

The band have taken a whopping two years to create this EP to best show what the band are about and best represent themselves as musicians and I believe that the hard work certainly has paid off.

7 is one of the best metal EP's I have heard in a long time, with ear shattering scowls and growls accompanied by soothing melodies and clean vocals glued together with blistering drum beats and heavy riffs.

If this EP is what we can expect to hear more of in the future from the band then we strongly recommend you keep an eye on them. As a band they are redefining what a metal band are, and more importantly, what a band actually is. Each member has a different influence on the direction of the music which gives the finished product of I The Betrayer, something that works so incredibly well on every level.

There are so many influences and little things that the band experiment with over each track which makes it feel like you are listening to a completely different band throughout the release.

Solid work, we can't wait to see what else is to come from the guys!
